'Western' Diet Linked To Increased Risk Of Colon Cancer Recurrence

Surely, this shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone that's been keeping up with the reported relationships between red meat and cancer: Researchers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute report that colon cancer patients who eat a diet high in red meat, fatty products, refined grains, and desserts -- a so-called "Western diet" -- may be increasing their chance of disease relapse and early death.]
And the links between red meat and cancer has been suspected for a very long time.
